दोस्तों आज कल हम लोगो को स्कूल मे काफी सारे कॉम्पिटशन  मे हिस्सा लेना होता है| फिर वह खेल हो, पढाई हो, कोई क्विज हो, प्रतियोगिता हो हमें उसके लिए तैयारी करनी होती है| आज हम कुछ संस्कृत श्लोक के बारे मे जानेंगे और उन्का अर्थ इंग्लिश मे जानेंगे  |

सह नाववतु|

सह नौ भुनक्तु|

सह वीर्यं करवावहै |

तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तुमा विद्विषावहै॥

शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः॥


✒Meaning:–   Aum! May He protect us both together; may 

He nourish us both together; May we work conjointly with 

great energy, May our study be vigorous and effective;

May we not mutually dispute (or may we not hate any).

Aum! Let there be peace in me!

Let there be peace in my environment!

Let there be peace in the forces that act on me!

असतो मासद्गमय तमसो माज्योतिर्गमय मृत्योर्माऽमृतं गमय । 

शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः


✒Meaning:O Lord, lead me from the unreal to the

 ultimate truth, from the darkness to light, – and from the

 death of ignorance to the imortality of knowledge. OM !!

वाणी रसवती यस्य,यस्यश्रमवती क्रिया।

लक्ष्मी : दानवती यस्य,सफलंतस्य जीवितं।।

✒Meaning:–    A person whose language is soft-spoken,

 whose work is full of hard work, whose money is used to

 donate, his life is successful.

आलस्यं हि मनुष्याणांशरीरस्थो महान् रिपुः।

नास्त्युद्यमसमोबन्धुः कृत्वा यं नावसीदति।।


✒Meaning:– The biggest enemy of a person is laziness.
 
A person’s hard work is his true friend. 

Because whenever a person works hard, 

he is not unhappy and is always happy.

उद्यमेन हि सिध्यन्तिकार्याणि मनोरथैः।

हि सुप्तस्यसिंहस्य प्रविशन्ति मुखे मृगा:।।


✒Meaning:– Only by working hard can a person complete

 his work. Just doing desire does not complete his work.

 As the deer does not come in the sleeping Tiger’s mouth,

 the Tiger has to work for it.

प्रदोषे दीपक : चन्द्र:,प्रभातेदीपक:रवि:

त्रैलोक्येदीपक:धर्म:,सुपुत्र: कुलदीपक:

Meaning:-  In the evening, there is a moon lamp, in the

 morning, there is a sun lamp, in the three worlds there is

 a religion lamp and the son is a lamp of cool.

पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदम् पूर्णात्पूर्णमुदच्यते |

पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते || 

शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः||

✒Meaning:–  Aum! That is infinite Brahman, and this

(universe) is infinite.The infinite proceeds from the

infinite.(Then) taking the infinitude of the infinite

(universe),It remains as the infinite Brahman alone.

Aum! Peace! Peace! Peace!

भद्रं कर्णभिः श्रुणुयामदेवाः

भद्रंपश्येमाक्षभिर्यत्राःस्थिरै रंर्गैस्तुष्टुवागंसस्तनूभिः व्यशेमदेवहितं यदायुः

स्वस्तिन इन्द्रो वृध्धश्रवाः स्वस्तिनःपूषा विश्ववेदाः

स्वस्तिनस्तार्क्ष्योअरिष्टनेमिः स्वस्तिनो बृहस्पतिर्दधातु

शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः!!


✒Meaning:– Oh God, may we hear auspicious words with

 the ears, while worshipping, may we see auspicious 

things with the eyes while praising the Gods with steady 

limbs, may we enjoy a life beneficial to the Gods, may 

Indra of ancient fame be auspicious to us, may the all-

knowing earth be propitious to us, may Garuda the 

destroyer of evil be blissful to us, may Bruhaspati ensure
